چکیده

We created a material with a composition gradient within each grain. Due to the graded composition the ceramic does not show a sharp change in dielectric constant near the relaxation frequency. Instead, we observe gradual decrease in dielectric constant with frequency, with the loss tangent remaining practically unchanged (below 0.02 everywhere within the frequency range 0.0003-3 GHz). The tunability of the ceramic decreases with increasing frequency but remains in the order of 10 % at 3 GHz. Thus we conclude that the dielectric relaxation in high purity (Ba,Sr)TiO3 occurs predominantly by Ti ion hopping relaxation. We also expect that the concept of intragrain concentration gradient ceramics may become a useful material for a wide range of electronic devices. PACS: 77.22.Gm, 77.22.Ch, 77.84.Dy

High Frequency Dielectric Relaxation in Lanthanum Modified PbTiO

Dielectric measurements of lanthanum modified lead titanate ceramics were carried out in a frequency and temperature range of 70 × 10 Hz – 2 × 10 Hz and 300 K 420 K, respectively. Dielectric relaxation appears around 7 × 10 Hz at room temperature, and the maximum of the dielectric relaxation was around 393 K, the transition temperature (T c ). The relaxation frequency passes through a minimum a...

Dielectric relaxation and pinning phenomenon of (Sr,Pb)TiO3 ceramics for dielectric tunable device application

The behavior of ferroelectric domain under applied electric field is very sensitive to point defects, which can lead to high temperature dielectric relaxation behaviors. In this work, the phases, dielectric properties and ferroelectric switching behavior of strontium lead titanate ceramics were investigated. The structural characterization is confirmed by X-ray diffraction. The high dielectric ...

X-Ray Analysis and Dielectric Characterization of Bismuth Layered (Bi2O3) (Baxfe1-Xo3) Nanocrystalline Ceramic

Polycrystalline ceramics of bismuth layered structure of (Bi2O3)(BaxFe1-xO3) (0.2x0.8, x is in step of 0.2) have been prepared by conventional solid-state reaction method to study its modified dielectric and electrical properties. X-ray diffraction technique is used on the powdered samples for physical characterization and an average grain size of 16 – 21 nm was obtained. The XRD analysis rev...

Dielectric and viscoelastic properties of KNbO3 doped BaTiO3

Fine grain (1–2 lm) 2%, 3% KNbO3-BaTiO3 ceramics have been synthesized via the solid state reaction method. Fine and coarse grain ceramics sintered at different temperatures exhibit peaks in dielectric constant and internal friction in the vicinity of transition temperatures. Doping lowered the Curie point and raised the temperatures for the structural transformations between orthorhombic and r...

Energy-storage properties and high-temperature dielectric relaxation behaviors of relaxor ferroelectric Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3–PbTiO3 ceramics

1 − x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3−xPbTiO3 (x = 0, 5, and 10 mol%) ceramics were prepared using a conventional mixed oxide solid state reaction method. The low-temperature relaxor behavior of (1 − x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3–xPbTiO3 ceramics were examined in the temperature range from 120 to 523 K. A broad dielectric maximum that shifted to higher temperatures with increasing frequency, signified the relaxor-type b...
